Well, it has taken quite a long time, but I've finally gotten internet access [kind of]. The cable guy came around and installed a modem-cum-router today, so it seems as if I'll finally be able to interact with the outside world! I'm a bit concerned, though, because the network keeps dropping me even though I'm literally 3 yards away...
For now, I'm going to head off to the gym and then head over to the anti-war protest down by the White House. More to come!
