Children

I've spent a lot of time watching spoken word on Youtube during the last few days, and I wanted to share two great poems that speak to the wonder of youth. The first one, "Frank Sinatra," is a touching piece by Katie Wirsing that made me cry when I first heard it. The second, "For Those Who Can Ride in an Airplane For the First Time," is a less mournful poem by Anis Mojgani. Both pieces are great reminders of the promise that young people hold -- and the need to help make sure that such promise is given the chance to flourish.
